Join Hidden Spaces for a guided tour through the Grade II* listed Council House, which sits at the heart of Birmingham’s civic life. Since the first stone was laid by Joseph Chamberlain in 1874 the building has played home to wide reaching and city defining decisions. Now it balances its responsibility as a hub of civic activity with that of a much loved tourist destination. The tour will include a visit to the mayoral parlour, the council chamber and the beautiful glass corridor.
