A rare opportunity to hear Worcester-born, and internationally renowned artist, John Stezaker, discuss the ideas that inspired him to curate his first ever display, 'Turning to See: From Van Dyck to Lucian Freud' . The display is on show at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery from 28th May until 4th September. John will discuss his influences and inspiration, drawing on his research carried out during the project, and the theme of physical and metaphorical turning elucidated in the display. John will also provide a context to his ideas through discussion of his own artistic practice of collage.
